The redesign and development of a new interactive exhibit to Urbis in Manchester.

The interactive combines our expertise in developing dynamic, on-screen database driven media with our ability to create robust electronic user interfaces.

Visitors to Urbis can find out about Crime and Punishment around the world and answer questions using a ticket machine. When they get the answer right they get a ticket printed out for them to take away.

The interactive is also integrated with the existing Urbis exhibit management infrastructure.

Feedback on the project has been excellent, on completion URBIS’ Technical Manager commented:

“Throughout the build process, we were kept fully informed of its progress and loved the new graphics that were produced to help the visitor. Within an hour of the new exhibit arriving in the building, it was working! Visitors are now enjoying a previously ignored exhibit! The exhibit has not broken down once since install. A heavy summer holiday traffic flow didn’t upset the system once.”
