Newark Castle - Castle and Conflict Interactive

The interactive is part of a major new exhibition exploring the history of the Castle and its colourful relationship with the town and inhabitants of Newark.
Castle and Conflict includes a quiz designed to ‘fire’ the visitor’s imagination and encourage further exploration of the exhibition. It also provides a comprehensive digital archive that enables visitors to access Newark Castle’s wealth of historical resources.
The interactive is fully database driven so that content can be updated and the archive expanded by staff on-site without the need for specialist skills.
The interactive has been designed in line with standards for disability access, in order to extend the exhibition experience to a greater number of visitors. Functionality also includes full screen ‘zooming’ to enable the detailed inspection of archive assets.
