Heritage Multimedia has delivered an award winning multiplayer player racing interactive for the Dunlop Tyres Ltd Autosport International stand, at the NEC Birmingham.

The interactive, a fully integrated part of the stand by leading design consultancy Fitch, proved a massive hit, with visitors queuing to play every day of the show.

Consisting of four ‘race stations’, the interactive challenged visitors to set the fastest lap time around Donnington racetrack, with a top prize up for grabs for the winning driver each day.

Not to be beaten to the chequered flag, the stand set the pace by winning the prestigious Autosport “Best Space Only Stand” award.

The solution included:

Four ‘race stations’ including game platform technology, race seats, supporting frameworks, active steering wheels, pedals and sound system.

Integrated ‘race control’ enabling stand staff to start/stop races and record lap times from a single point.

System management and monitoring (in remote control room) ensuring continuous and smooth system operation throughout the show.
